Memory Lane Boulevard Restoration Process

Our restoration process is a detailed and loving practice! Our machines are better than new when they are finished. Look at the step by step process below and see the detail we put into our machines.

1. Each machine is completely taken apart	2. The mechanical coin mechanism is disassembled and components sent out for re-plating

3. All chrome parts are sent out to be re-chromed	4. We order or fabricate all new gaskets, door liners, stainless screws, light fixtures, and other parts.

5. The outside shell is sandblasted to bare metal (inside and out). A professional body work technician repairs all damage, and when finished, the shell is smooth as glass.	6. Next, our painter applies the first coat of paint. Once dry, the second coat is applied. The machine is now ready for the final clear coat application.

7. The inside shell (tank), shelves, and other parts are cooked and then sandblasted. Then they are powder coated. A final spray of clear coat is applied.	8. The machines are reassembled using all new insulation. . .Note that the inside of the "outside" shells have also been sprayed for protection!

9. We install the tank. . .Note that the backside is as beautifully done as the front!	10. We install the vending apparatus. (Note that this component has been taken apart, plated or powder coated, depending upon the apparatus)

11. Embossed areas are professionally Hand Painted by our artist. We do not use decals on the Embossed areas!	12. We then put a new refrigeration system in the machine. This unit is specially modified by our staff to easily fit into your machine and uses environmentally safe refrigerants. All new wiring is installed.

13. We install new gaskets and door liners using all new, matching, stainless screws. All new light fixtures are now installed.	14. All decals are applied. Machine is now inspected by our Production Manager.

15. We use real metal trim on our machines. Not plastic molding!	16. Machines are loaded with sodas and then turned on! Temperature is set and bottles are dispensed to ensure that everything is working smoothly. Within a week, the machine is ready to ship and our tag applied.
